I obtained my Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles. I am a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA).  For over 20 years, I have worked with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, ADD, Emotional Disturbance, as well as typical children with behavior challenges. I have a broad range of experience with children who are mild to severely impacted in both behavior and language. I have worked extensively with parents,  providing comprehensive parent training, so that parents feel confident in managing their children’s behaviors.

I have been in private practice since 2013. Prior to starting my private practice, I worked at 2 agencies, supporting children with autism, utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

I have taught parents how to work through various challenges with their children, such as food refusal, school refusal, social issues, dressing, and issues with transitions. I work with parents to create a behavior plan, and then teach them how to implement it. Parents are taught how to reinforce appropriate behaviors and how to provide consequences for inappropriate behaviors. This ultimately leads to behavior reduction and a much happier home!
